One of the primary source of carbon emission in any event is Travel of participants through various modes of transport. Emissions intensity is dependent on specific mode of transport. It could be done through Gasoline vehicles or Compressed Natural Gas operated vehicles or Electric Vehicles. Based on System Boundaries, life cycle emission could change. Reporting agencies responsibility is for the amount of distance travelled for event from a starting point to event location through various modes of transport. 

 

Green Sarthi is proud to present Green Safar a Travel location app designed in house to calculate distance travelled by user based on GPS Location data along with detecting multi mode of transport thereby decreasing user inputs. The app will in future give recommendation on a carbon friendly route alternatives and mode of transport for your destination. This app will be free to download for people who want to be aware about their travel emissions in their daily life as well.
