• Location Data: Collected only while a trip is active to estimate carbon emissions and automatically detect transportation mode.

• Phone Number & Account Info: We collect and store your phone number and basic account details to create your user profile and tag trip data to your account for accurate emissions tracking.

• Usage Data: Limited analytics such as device type and crash reports to improve app performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to:

• Calculate carbon emissions for your trips.

• Detect your mode of transportation during active trips.

• Improve, maintain, and personalize the Green Safar app.

• Communicate with you about updates or support.

3. Data Storage

All personal data is securely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law.

4. Third-Party Services

Green Safar integrates only with:

• Google Maps API to provide location-based mapping and routing.

• AWS Cloud Hosting for secure data storage.

These providers process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

5. Data Sharing

• We do not sell or share your personal information with anyone except the third parties listed above who enable core app functionality.

6. Children’s Privacy

Green Safar is suitable for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us to have it deleted.

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
